Cooks Beach Postcard
Cooks Beach Postcard
This Cooks Beach and Lonely Bay Postcard from a great backyard shows off the great arc of Cooks Beach | Pukaki and the beauty of Mercury Bay. Named by Captain James Cook when he visited the area in 1769 to observe the transit of Mercury, the bay had also been visited by Māori voyagers centuries earlier.
This large postcard, #19 from our collection, is sized 121mm x 161mm, making it the perfect size to write a note to loved ones back home while you’re on the trip of a lifetime around New Zealand.
We source high-quality card stock for our postcards so they’re easy to write on the back and the image on the front is protected. We’re proud that all of our postcards are printed in Aotearoa New Zealand using environmentally friendly materials which carry the FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) accreditation, and using only vegetable inks derived from 99% vegetable sources.
