Rifleman Postcard
Rifleman Postcard
This Rifleman Postcard from a great backyard shows off New Zealand’s smallest bird. Only six grams, the rifleman | tititipounamu belongs to an ancient family of New Zealand wrens.
Constantly on the move, these tiny birds were named after a New Zealand colonial regiment because its feathers were similar to the military uniform of a rifleman.
This large postcard, #78 from our collection, is sized 121mm x 161mm, making it the perfect size to write a note to loved ones back home while you’re on the trip of a lifetime around New Zealand.
We source high-quality card stock for our postcards so they’re easy to write on the back and the image on the front is protected. We’re proud that all of our postcards are printed in Aotearoa New Zealand using environmentally friendly materials which carry the FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) accreditation, and using only vegetable inks derived from 99% vegetable sources.
