Image of happy bride and groom under a pohutukawa tree on their wedding day, Coromandel

Jillian & RobbiE

Texan girl meets Kiwi boy in a vineyard and they fall in love. But when they go to walk down the aisle, Covid delays their plans - repeatedly. For Jillian and Robbie, best friends and brilliant winemakers, each time a new date was set and their hopes rose, the pandemic dashed their dreams.

On December 10th when the date finally arrived with borders open and no restrictions in place, the atmosphere was pure joy. The Texan and Kiwi cultures swirling together at Te Kouma Cottages on the Coromandel Peninsula made for an international fusion of friends, family and humour that kept the laughter roaring and the ‘ya’ll’s being heard all night long.

But the best part was the pure love between Jillian and her Robbie, shining for all to see. To stand among the guests who had travelled so far to support the bride and groom was an incredibly moving experience, and we were honoured to be involved.

Jillian and Robbie, we have no doubt that your happy ever after is filled with fabulous wine and forever love. Thank you so much for the opportunity to capture your magic day.

xx
